What is Cubemap?
A Cubemap is a method of mapping a 360-degree panoramic image onto the six faces of a cube, creating a more immersive and interactive visual experience. Cubemaps are widely used in virtual tours, VR applications, and 360-degree photography.
Our Cubemap Converter transforms your panoramic images into cubemaps by splitting the panorama into six square images, each representing a face of the cube. This process enables more efficient and flexible use in various applications.
Cubemaps are essential for creating realistic virtual environments, as they provide a seamless way to display panoramic views without distortion. Whether you're working with images from a 360 camera or creating virtual tours, converting panoramas to cubemaps ensures the highest quality and performance.
